My Role

As a co-founder and creative producer at ScienceVR, I developed immersive, interactive experiences that brought historical scientific achievements to life through interactivity and spatialized visualizations. My work involved translating complex abstract theories into grounded, interactive, gamified narratives that educated through play, experimentation, and spatialized experiential learning.

Achievements

  • Led the design and production of Ada’s Engines, exhibited at the Science Education Center in Taipei.

  • Recipient of Unreal Mega Grant for Faraday’s Magnets.

  • Innovated in storytelling by integrating historical contexts with modern VR technology, enhancing educational approaches.

  • Pioneered prototypes that pushed the boundaries of educational content in VR, focusing on engagement and interactivity.

Delivered Projects

  • Faraday’s Magnets: An interactive experience taking you back to the fictional laboratory of Michael Faraday and James Clerk Maxwell to uncover the rules of electromagnetism through experimentation and visualization.

  • Ada’s Engines: A story-driven game allowing users to delve into the history of computer programming by joining one of Charles Babbage’s salon and creating music through a programmable piano based on Ada Lovelace's theories.

Additional Prototypes:

  • Galvani’s Electricity: Experimenting with bioelectricity through interactive VR simulations.

  • Mary Shelley’s Stories: Exploring themes from Shelley’s life and work in a spooky, science-fiction-driven VR experience.

  • Lewis Carroll’s Logic: Incorporating logical puzzles and mathematical concepts into an interactive VR setting.
